Hong Kong Observatory Open Day 2024

The Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) will organise HKO Open Day on 30 November (Saturday) and 1 December (Sunday) 2024. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. This Open Day will not only showcase the various services of HKO and enhance public understanding and awareness of climate change and extreme weather, it will also give a brief overview of the long-standing collaboration between HKO and the meteorological authorities in Mainland China and around the world over the years.

Closing date and time of free QR code application:
If there is oversubscription, selection will be made by computer balloting. Successful applicants will receive the QR code for entry to the venue through email on or before 16 November 2024. A valid QR code must be presented for entering the venue.
