Hong Kong Observatory Open Day 2024
The Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) will organise HKO Open Day on 30 November (Saturday) and 1 December (Sunday) 2024. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. This Open Day will not only showcase the various services of HKO and enhance public understanding and awareness of climate change and extreme weather, it will also give a brief overview of the long-standing collaboration between HKO and the meteorological authorities in Mainland China and around the world over the years.

The online registration is now closed. Successful applicants will receive the QR code for the entry to the venue through email on or before 16 November 2024.
Inclement Weather Arrangement
HKO may change the visiting arrangement, such as postponing or cancelling the Open Day event, as appropriate in case of inclement weather. Successful applicants should stay tuned to the latest announcement on this webpage.
